The NBC 5 promotions squad took to the streets of downtown Chicago to help consumers start their day off right! A sampling truck passing out free breakfast bags & team of knowledgeable NFC ambassadors to assist patrons in downloading the News Today app created the perfect 1-2 punch to create a lasting impression on viewers. Commuters flooded the truck, picking up their breakfast on the go & experiencing firsthand why NBC 5 is the go-to source for up to the minute news! Over the 4 day initiative, our team distributed 3,200 breakfast bags & had 688 app engagements, resulting in a 68.8% redemption rate & 12,800 lasting consumer impressions!
