As part of their corporate sponsorship of PSU Nittany Lion Football, Green Giant® participated in Fan Fest at Beaver Stadium for all eight (8) home games this college football season. From a very green, can’t-be-missed pop-up sampling shop, brand ambassadors cooked and served over 27,000 Veggie Tots in a variety of flavors: broccoli, cauliflower, corn and sweet potato. The cafe-like experiential marketing footprint encouraged fans to take a seat and socialize while enjoying their warm treat. In addition, Penn State football fans could share a valid email address in exchange for some cool swag, such as a green beanie hat or Green Giant doll. An inflatable Green Giant also stood tall, as fans were encouraged to take photos and share using hashtag #PSUTotSpot.
