On May 24, the #Hangry Tour was recognized for its experiential prowess and for bringing together brand partners in the fight against childhood hunger. Not only did #Hangry receive the Gold Halo in the experiential category through the commitment of Arby’s and The Habit Burger Grill, our friends at No Kid Hungry also received a nod in the small business category through their partnership with Grimaldi’s Pizzeria.
“When an organization can make strides in such an important fight…and also bring together competitors in the restaurant industry to get it done, that’s nothing shy of magic,” says Shari Maher, VP National Brand Partnerships and the account supervisor on the No Kid Hungry account. “I’m in awe at how No Kid Hungry brings together its supporters. Multiple players across the restaurant industry work together for this one cause.”
We were honored to partner with No Kid Hungry and digital communications firm LAI Video to bring to life the #Hangry message. We’re angry that 1 in 6 kids in America are hungry.
